Black Cube is an installation in the frame of Zhijian Workshop’s ongoing project：3RE--Materials which is about rethinking, reusing and recycling of everyday material by Rubing Zhang.
--Hanging the black cube at a certain distance away from the ground, invites visitors to participate and enter the cube, to experience a feeling of in between: in between inside and outside, lightness and heaviness, between darkness and brightness.
--As an integration into the space, the black cube tries to create a dialogue and spatial relationship between the viewer and the calligraphy by artist Qian Geng  on the background wall of C-Space Berlin.

In the opening of the exhibition, the independent dancer Tian Gao also performed an improvisational performance：In Between with Black Cube.
